OFC Commission
A few years back in a time of discernment and prayer, our Elders determined that OFC was strong when it came to discipling people who already knew Jesus – but weaker when it came to reaching those who don’t know Him yet. OFC Commission was born.
OFC Commission is our annual “local mission blitz”, usually held in the Spring. It is an opportunity for our church to connect with the surrounding community by serving others the way Jesus would. We divide into small groups and commit to serving weekly at one local ministry partner over the course of 10 to12 weeks. We also come together for a weekly “rally” on Wednesday nights from 7:15 to 8:00 PM to encourage, share testimonies, and pray for each other.
This year, from March 15 to May 17, we are partnering with SourcePoint, Salvation Army of Delaware County, Pregnancy Decision Health Centers, and Common Ground Free Store. Open to all, although some ministries will be more difficult to serve with than others depending on age and physical ability.
